Before we can preach the gospel to others we must learn to preach it to ourselves. Inside the belly of the great fish Jonah cries out to God in a moving prayer of repentance. Jonah is confronted with his own sin as God crushes the idols of his heart. Salvation, satisfaction, significance and pleasure is ultimately only found in Jesus and He will stop at nothing to make that a reality in our hearts.
