You might ask yourself, “What’s a two-year-old doing up an hour and a half past his bedtime rocking out to Journey?” Answer: Pastor Dad was busy at Wednesday Night Classes leading the Youth Ministry through part of 1 John.

Last Wednesday night was the first week of the nine-week winter quarter of Wednesday night classes and to no surprise, God showed up in a big way. Between the Connect Bible Study, Redemption Groups, Youth Ministry, and Children’s Ministry, we had nearly five hundred people show up to worship, learn more about Jesus, and meet people.

I spent most of the night with the Youth and Children’s Ministries and we had a blast. It was awesome seeing so many kids (and volunteers who are all kids at heart) running around, laughing, playing games, and learning about Jesus.

Afterward, I got to talk with people coming out of the Connect Bible Study. Many of them were new to Mars Hill or even Seattle. They said they loved meeting new people and learning more about the Bible. Some of them even went out for a bite to eat so they could continue their conversations.

It’s always great to see God fill the building that he’s given us. Our hope is that even more people would come next week. If you’re interested, we’d love to have you come check it out.
