If you aren’t already connected at Mars Hill, now’s the time! There are still two weeks left in the Winter Quarter where you can simply show up on Wednesdays at 7:00pm at the Ballard campus and participate in a Connect Bible Study. This week, Pastor Mark is teaching from various Proverbs on friendship. Afterward, small groups will discuss the text with the help of a table leader. Our hope is that these small groups will eventually launch into the Ballard neighborhood as community groups.

At the same time, Pastor Mike and Pastor James are leading Redemption Groups. Redemption Groups are for those facing difficult and seldom-discussed struggles, like abuse, addiction, and trials of all sorts. It is a time for growing in knowledge of how God changes our lives by the Gospel. Registration is required to participate in these groups. And finally, to ensure that all families can participate in these events, Children’s Ministry and Youth Ministry are meeting as well. This week, Pastor Phil is leading the Children’s Ministry through one of the Psalms, while Pastor Bubba continues the Youth Ministry’s study through 1 John.

But if you’re not able to make it this quarter, we’ll be starting again on Wednesday, April 22nd.

This seminar is strongly encouraged for anyone in Mars Hill Church who plans to be married in the next 6-12 months. Pastor Phil Smidt will present an informational overview of the process for becoming married at MHC including an introduction to the Preparing for Marriage class, access to the application process and questions to take with you to work on as a couple. On Saturday, March 28th starting at 8:30am, anyone interested in starting or finishing the membership process can hear Pastor Mark teach through the entire Doctrine series in three one-hour sessions. After attending, you’ll then be ready for your community group leader to complete your membership interview. If you’re not in a community group, community group leaders in your neighborhood will be available after the teaching to help you find a group.
